National Scholarship Portal which is NSP is launched by the government of India which a part of its Digital India program, with the help of this portal, all the information on Scholarships offered by the government will be made available to the student at a single place. It is taken as Mission Mode Project under National Governance Plan, so that the benefit of the scheme reaches to more and more people. The main objective of the National Scholarship Portal is to be single portal for all the scholarships related problems of the students. All the scholarships which are offered to candidates from various Government departments have been collected at a single place as they are being provided by Central Government, State Government and any other ministry.

Under this portal, the various schemes of scholarship application forms are filled for all application forms are made through this portal. There is only one application form for all the scholarships schemes under National Scholarship scheme are as-

Under this portal, the application forms are filled in and direct benefit of transfer is given to the candidates who all are applying for the application form of the scholarships. To avail the benefit of the scholarship the candidates have to register themselves through the student login panel and fill all their required details in the common application form and after that, the candidates will be made available to the scholarships for which they will get eligible will get listed against them on the screen
The steps of instructions to fill the National Scholarship Portal Application form are listed below. Candidates are suggested to follow the instructions which is given as-
Student Login– The application forms can be filled in by visiting the student login section which is available on the homepage of the official website of the scholarship portal
Registration– To initiate with the scholarship registration, the candidates will have to register with the application form on the scholarship portal. They should fill in all the required details in the application form for the purpose of applying the scholarship application form
Temporary Registration Form-Once the registration is done, the candidate will be allotted with the 20 digit temporary Registration Number which is sent on the registered mobile number which is future use.
Logging into the Account– Once, the candidates have received registration number, they have to login with it and date of birth to the National Scholarship portal.
Fill in the details: The candidates must fill their Basic details, educational details as well as contact details
Uploading Documents:The candidates must upload the required important documents that will be required in the Application Form.
Submission: The candidates must upload the duly filled in Application form through online only.
